Chet: Is the RS-1 equipped with an Atlas Dual-Mode decoder? If so, the there is plug on top of the decoder that needs to be moved to shift from DCC to DC to from operating modes. It should be the green plug on the photo below. Atlas's website has a manual.
Willie: I know about waiting for bands or performers to finally start their concerts. Sly and The Family Stone once made us wait two hours to come on stage and then another time with a "No Show" after an extended wait which both happened in the 70's. Michael Bolden had a wait of over 2 hours. Best concert was Blood Sweat and Tears when they did a two concert followed by a another hour of music after they left the stage and then returned for an encore lasting an hour.
Train room today, but several basement projects in between railroad work. Cable installer left a mess in the Packer room. Ceiling tile push out of place, old cable and spitters left in place and just general cleanup. Nice work.
Tomorrow truck emissions test, blood test, go to the frame shop to have a tank car safety placard framed for hanging at the entrance to the railroad room and then to Walther's. Anyone need any thing from Walther's, just wire me the $$$ and I get for you...lol.
I enjoy the video clips everyone has submitted on the Forum. They give me real inspiration to get back to doing some work on the rail road.
Have fun.
