Chet, I haven't gone through all the photos I've posted here; but, what I've seen so far looks like all mine came through the migration from the old Forum to this one. I sure can see that you have lost many of you'res!

Chet,

That is weird, the loss of the pictures .... I am sure that Bob will sort it out though. In the event that they have disappeared into cyberspace some where, do you still have copies of them?

There are some photos in the earlier posts, but many are missing. Bob, where did they go ????
Unfortunately, I've got nothing. No idea what broke here or why. Unfortunately, when you do a huge date migration like this, it's pretty much inevitable that not all of the data will come across. It sucks but it seems like the way to fix it would be to edit the posts and reupload them.

Bob: So far so good on the data migration and some data loss should be expected with a project as large as the one you under took. But is a shame that some photos got loss in cyber space during the whole process.

Thanks.

It really is, and I tried hard to avoid that. What's strange is that his earlier photos came through, and other attachments during that time frame made the transition just fine. Really don't know what happened to those ones?

A lot of photos that were in this posting were lost when the forum was updated so I'll post some of the more recent photos. I had one open area without much happening so I went and put this blacksmith shop and Woodland Scenics built up mobile home.

The mobile home came with LED interior lighting so I put some juice to it and it doesn't look bad at all.

I model the transition era, set in 1957 so having a car dealership really helps to set the time. I managed to find one of the old Revell auto carrier kits (actually had one when I was a kid) and loaded it with new cars to be delivered.

Trying to get more layout photos into the post, here's a Milwaukee Road switcher spotting a box car at a grain elevator.

So many photos have been lost. I will try to go back and try to figure out what ones are missing and try to replace them. More updated photos will be added also.

Still trying to find and replace lost photos. Not having much luck.

Earlier I posted the photo of the mobile home with the LED lighting. Went and ordered rhe street lamps from Woodland Scenics and really like the results.
