Good afternoon fellow Switch and Breakmen,
Hi Francine, No Flo? Oh, she left with Sherrel again, hah. That guy sure seems to have all the luck. How about some coffee and a nice slice of Pumpkin Pie. Thanks, glad you have some left over. Your out of Whip Creme though, no problem, plain is fine.
Lets check WU and see what they say is going on?

Say Justin: Your town and the mountain hillside are looking very good. I don't have much experience with paved roads or applying lines but once you get ready to try it again, how about using some painters tape that seals good along the edges such as the Blue stuff? You'll figure it out I'm sure.
Good Morning - Well, I think it is. Back at the homestead after a 10 -1/2 hour drive from Apache Junction, Arizona. OK .. I admit that I stopped once for gas and twice to let the doggies sniff around in the desert, squat, and hike a leg. Other than that, they never left their positions of the little one laying on my lap while raising up to stick his head out and the larger one with her head stuck out the window or curled up in the passenger seat - spoiled brats for sure!
Traffic moved pretty well except the stretch of I-10 between Indigo and the Beaumont turnoff where I head South. It too me ONE solid hour to progress 2 miles from the Palm Springs Exit to the Morango Valley Exit - and then 5-10 MPH for most all of the remainder to the Beaumont Exit. While we were stuck on the freeway, I observed numerous truckers - and other vehicles - with dogs heads poking out the sides. One trucker that we moved in step with for that two miles had what looked like a miniature Husky with him. My girl and he were trying to establish a date I think - they kept up an occasional communication for a ways. When we finally pulled up to the homestead, all three of us made a bee-line to the door and all three of us flopped down on the carpet in the family room - all extremely happy to exit that moving vehicle!
Believe it or not! There was not one train that came by the entire way going in either direction! I was thinking the same that I could at least watch trains too!
David Sure glad that the fire dept was able to put that out. guess they think someone is setting them? You saved the day, er night!
Supposed to only get up tp 64 today - then high 70's rest of week.
Sherrel: Wow, 10.5 hours of driving, man that makes for a long day and then to get stuck in snail paced traffic on top of it too! I'll bet you were tired when you got home.
It sure does seem odd you didn't see one train going or coming back in all that distance.
About my calling the Fire crew, I probably could have gone around front and grabed that 100' hose and connected it to the one on the back side of the house but I wasn't moving around very well at the time. It does let me know though that I need to do more mowing of that back area like I used to and can again now that I have my tractor with heavy duty mowing
deck running again as well as other areas and with the most recent rain once things dry out a bit it should be a great time to do it!
Oh, say Francine, How about another slice of Punkin Pie and more coffee. Francine, where'd she run off too?
Hope everyone as a good day.
