Magilla’s first layout build.


I did the water last... Because it was the part I feared would be the hardest. And it was... Sort of. It's hard to get good Intel on the various techniques, especially if doing a fairly large body of water.
I bet if you make a post on a technique you would get oodles of input.

I did, sort of... here and on MTF. Starts around post 67... I followed the advice of a person on MTF. The advice was not great. In fact, it was erroneous and way over simplified. But I don't intend to hijack this thread ;)
 
As @wombat457 mentioned Luke Towans has some info. I've probably learned more from Boomer Diorama's because he really goes into explaining why he does something a particular way. In the end there are multiple right and wrong ways to do it. Just enjoy the process an experiment on small pieces or examples.

I added another layer if moss and hallelujah it rained last night.
Stir for 10 min. This product has a 2 hour working time so bubbles shouldn’t be a problem. Hopefully
