Pre-weathered Kato GP 35 What do I do with it now

Thanks that's the place I was looking for, annoyingly I can't access them from the UK anymore.

This is what I've finished up with, not brilliant by any standards, but a definite improvement on before I think.
The end rails are permanently fixed now, that's was a PITA to do and get right.
Mistakes I made, only three (I think).
1 White patch, on one side is 1 door panel too short.
2 Cab No. on one side has moved, (and dried before I noticed it)
3 Decals are rubbish, but I don't have a laser printer.
If anything else please leave a comment, so hopefully, I can correct it before going onto the weathering.

I would take care of the loose coupler cut lever before doing any painting/weathering in that area.

Yeah, I need to bend or cut that off, it's not the coupler it came with. I replaced it with a Kadee #148
The coupler cut lever on your model is the piece that runs the width of the pilot between the handrail stanchions and the coupler.

How did you do the decals. The reason I ask is depending how you did them they may be fixable.

I have an Inkjet printer, onto normal waterslide decal paper and then I matt varnish them so I can soak them.

Looks good to me. I can't believe you got all of that old paint off of the shell. Remarkable job.

Only because you asked:: The window glazing looks hazed over. Got any clear gloss paint/varnish to go over it?

That was me being a little over-enthusiastic with the dull coat, cotton swab and IPA sorted that out, but thanks for reminding me.
