As always let me know what you think or any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Some more excellent rock work. What are you planning to use for coloring the mountains?

Acrylic paint washes. And maybe some zip texturing.
Not sure if you have experienced painting rockwork, but if you haven't I wood highly recommend using the woodland scenic coloring system, I have never had an undesireable result and the colors are always consistant at least when using pop.

Thats what i am basically doing just using my own acrylics watered down. Lot of vidoes on you tube. I am most likely going to film my own how too. I used the woodland scenics kit in the past. Just dont feel like spending 20 dollars when I could make my own for less. I model on a very tight budget.

But non the less thanks for the tip Lynn.

Look forward to your video how to. I've tried acrylic washes and never was happy.

Haven't posted in a while, as I haven't had a lot of free time to model, only getting a half hour here and there.

I have been focusing on the Field yard side of the layout. Been leveling out the terrain with track level using Geno Sharpe's method of using foam core board. I find this method perfect as most of the yard in Field is compacted dirt and gravel with minimal paving. The foam board will allow for dips and pot holes and other natural formations. I am also working on a small Hill or bluff along the back drop to keep Field more prototypical.

In this instalment, I am focusing on the Field BC side of the layout.

Worked on the layout some more. Sanded down my yard and started working on my depot platform.

Finished my first wall of my Field BC depot mock up. Using bristol board and working out all the measurements so when it comes to building it out of styrene going to be an easy process. Let me know what you guys think. I am modelling the prototype as best as possible.

The scenery is coming along nicely. The station looks like an interesting project. Keep up the posts.

Looking good!
That station should be fairly easy to build with scribed styrene siding and some embossed paper rock sheet.
