Well, it's the truth. I'm a home-bound disabled veteran. My interest in model railroading and rebuilding 60's and 70's era rolling stock keeps me from going up the wall.
Bergen County Police dispatcher and 911 telecommunicator. Big department, and we also dispatch for 2 other towns pd/fd/ems on top of our stuff. Answre 911's for 17 towns and every cellular company.
Votech trained in auto technologies (grew up fixing and painting cars, and working on a farm) but instead of becoming a tech, wound up writing service then later as service manager for another dealership. Then when the bottom fell out last year, I switched gears. Now a Service Manager for a tractor dealership, I'm seeing even more business now with a bad economy. Folks are dropping the lawn services and doing it themselves. But the still forget to do oil changes, just like they did with thier cars!
kind of corny but thank you for your service, YOUR the Man!Well, it's the truth. I'm a home-bound disabled veteran. My interest in model railroading and rebuilding 60's and 70's era rolling stock keeps me from going up the wall.

Hi, Mike. I'm a member of Local 60, Morton, IL. We just had one of your (and our) union brothers, from Manitoba, at our local early last month explaining how to sign up for work in Canada. I'm tagged out right now because I'm working at this time. Who knows, maybe we could end up on the same jobsite together! Only been to Ontario back in 2004, but loved it! Looking forward to seeing much more of it.
