Last weekend my office moved. I now not only have a window. but it's got a pretty good view:
Beyond the building is lovely Lake Champlain with the picturesque New York Adirondacks in the back ground.
... oh, yeah... And my new friends 208 and 212 shunting cars around for Vermont Rail Systems. I've also seen 209 and 210 bumping around, a handful of leased GATX locos, and Amtrack comes through each morning at 10:15.
Kind of hard to see, but right past 212's nose is the control box for the turn out that 212 is sitting over in this shot. It's quite the active switch.
Getting work done is... difficult... sometimes.
