Always liked this little station but couldn't ever find it, I see now where it is available again but decided to have a go at scratch building it. Decided to move the tower to the other side as not to be an exact copy. Used a toilet paper roll for the mold of the tower and made molds out of cardboard and 1/4" wood for the wall molds. Hand carved using a needle vise with a sewing needle in it. Windows are by Grandt line and the chimney, ginger bread trim, train order board and eave supports are by SS ltd. The shingles are by campbell scale models and the hand rails where made from brass wire soldered together. Painted the stone work with acrylic paints and everything else with model master enamel paints.
