Sample weathered decking


Dave, duh, now that I look at it again, I can see it's a ramp since the pilings get shorter all the way down. Are you planning on some kind of railing between the ramp and the dock so the trucks don't fall in that opening?

You're going to hate me for this idea. I'd have a crane on a barge but have the workers suspended over the side replacing part of one of the diagonal braces with a new part. Way more work than just replacing deck boards but it would look a lot more complex...probably because it would be more complex to build. :D
 
The worst idea to model would be a scene where the workers are replacing a piling and have to pull one out of the model now.

Thanks! I know I will not be doing that to this model but maybe on the next one as I'll be doing this one again (with the Campbell kit this time).
