Good Morning All!
43F @ 76% and partly. To be 52F bout 1600, above 55F all next week. Time for HPants and Halters!

Deleted the post in 'What are you listening ...' - woops, wrong thread.

Anyway, pix worked there although the upload took a little longer than normal:

Bird is on truck wiper, no idea of where we were when clicked!

Site is running as it used to right now - that is a good thing.

Afternoon All,

Started out the day with a walk at 57F under a clear sky and almost a full moon. After doing some chores I headed to the train room. I hooked up the electrical lights on Wiley's and McCauley's. I'll take a photo when it gets darker. Tomorrow I'll get started on the switch machine that will be placed inside the new Pennsy interlocking tower from Walthers.

Bill- Interesting video.

Bob- Thank you for your efforts. Neat RR job.

Willie- Nice build. I like the roof weathering.

Todd- Neat bird photo.

I hope everyone has a good night.

I tried to get on earlier. I had a chance to like posts, but didn't have tme to post.

Working much more better! Thanks Bob!

Ben Colder...I haven't heard him in years. I remember my father having that album in his collection, befor ehe and mom auctioned everythng off and moving back north.

I'm changing and updating stuff in the background, so there are occasional bursts of high server load. But you're right, the initial page open seems to be the slowest bit.
Bob if I really want to slow things down around here, I just have to turn on the microwave. It seems to interfere with the Wi Fi for some reason. It never use to but because of the construction going on in the house right now the microwave is in a direct line between the computer and the router.

We had a brief discussion regarding Duran Duran a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to look up ticket prices for it and a few other concerts at the Winstar Casino, just 22 miles up the road. I haven't actually been to a live concert since the early 90's because I didn't want to exacerbate my hearing loss any further, so I wasn't aware of going ticket prices. While I never cared for Duran Duran, I noted that "nosebleed" tickets were $229 each, heading up to a max of $699 each! Wow! So I looked up Heart who will be there in about another month and wow again. The "nosebleed" seats were $239 @, going up to $739. The biggest name on the current schedule is Stevie Nicks on May 10th. Her tickets start at $659 @ and go up to $1259. Even if it wasn't for my hearing, I could not fathom paying that much for any of these three performers for a single ticket. Back in the day, I think that the most that I paid for a ticket was $24.99 for Eric Clapton and the same for Dire Straits. And I thought that was highway robbery at the time! I don't remember what I paid for Heart tickets in 1977 in Ft Worth, but I'm sure it was under $12. This time at Winstar, Cheap Trick is the opening act, so it will be a good show.

Willie they say that the Charles Ives Concert Park about 12 miles from my house stopped scheduling rock concerts because the insurance was over $100,000.00 for a one-night outdoor concert. They claim the prices would be just too high to cover the insurance cost. This was an interview between I95 a local rock station and the owners of the park.
