Yes. That is a very traditional configuration for reverse loops.Can I do two reverse loops like this?
The polarity of the two reverse loops can easily be controlled by an auxilliary switch attached to the turnout that controls entry to the reverse loop, you just need a double pole switch, which may be included in your turnout motor if you use a Tortoise or similar, or you may have to add a switch like a Peco PL15 if you are using Peco solenoids. Once the train is fully within the reverse loop just return the entry turnout back to the Normal position and the polarity will be switched ready to exit the loop.
