The reefers are almost all here! 2 more boxes this morning received

More reefers from Scale trains have arrived but still 2 boxes not delivered per UPS tracking, the tracking says delivery before 7pm tonight for the last 2 boxes

4 of the personal 8 cars I ordered arrived along with some client reefers I ordered direct from STX, my 4 only…

This just showed up today...and damn this was fast considering i ordered it on E bay:

Practically impossible to find in hobby shops and train shows, so i bit the bullet and...On the cover is one of four L&NE 2-10-0s with Bethlehem booster on the tender, and is crossing Lehigh River on spectacular bridge which unfortunately does not exist anymore. $74 with shipping and handling.

Bulk purchase of 143 reefer cars. Athearn base that are custom Painted by a company called Show Me. These were part of the California Dreamin' series. Documentation says there were 18 different designs. I got 15 of them in this lot. BUT I can count seven others in one of the original magazine ads for them. Don't know what is up with that. I had been looking for the CalOra car for years, but actually forgot about this brand when the YesterYear company came out with the same design with better graphics and on a better quality car. Almost all the cars have at least one, and most often more, stirrups broken off. But I knew this before I purchased, and got them less than $2 a car. What I don't have is the ice hatch covers! I'll have to get a huge batch 3d printed.

I found these gems a week ago, bid on something like this previously but it got jacked up over $30! These details were a "buy it now" item and listed at $15.00, which is just about the original price! Usually these older items go way above the original price.

Now I have to revamp my thinking on the logging scene I am planning for my layout

In the ad it was only a picture of the cover, I couldn't really tell what the contents were cause the pic was too small, but I needed the cant hooks for sure

UPS saved me a few minutes ago from going crazy on Wednesday. Re-supplies of Tamiya XF86 flat clear (12 bottles ) some new to me Vallejo Air colors and a couple Matt flat varnishes to try. I ordered the rust and steel set because it was less on sale than buying the individual bottles
