As the title says I,m from Winnipeg. I worked for 32 years at CNR as a Carman. Many of those years were on the air gang where I was one of the air brake testers. I decided to get into model rail and had a setup in the basement. Started with Bachmann easy track then went to Peco code 83 and Diditrax DCC. Earlier this year the layout was taken down and moved to the garage where it,s a work in progress.

Welcome aboard Hugh from your (slightly) northern neighbour!
I did a little work for the RR's as well, mostly trackwork but also ran a small loco for a private operation.
We love seeing pictures here so feel free to post away!

Hello Hugh and welcome aboard to the friendliest model railroad forum on the internet, at least we think so. It's always good to get real railroaders into the group as you can sometimes explain how its done. As Rico posted, we love pictures.

Welcome, Hugh! During the fall and winter, when it's dark between 6 and 7 AM, I can sometimes pick up CFRY 920AM on my car radio. They still have good country music on that station!
