found this on the web in a few places ,anybody shed any light??
Lets see. Look at the calendar and see that April 1 is rapidly approaching.

Oh the other hand if one is an apocalyptic one world government type of person, the time is ripe. My Masters of Telecom final paper was Communications Technologies Enabling the Anti-Christ's Mark of the Beast

However, black helicopters are shipped in COFCs. To all the secret military bases, with hidden track. (Where do you think modelers got the idea for fiddle yards from?)

goes along with Homeland Security buying more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the next four or five years and the over 600 internment camps across the US

Y'all should do a little fact checking. Start with snopes and Urban Legends. Until you do, let me know if you need any fresh tinfoil for your hats! just made a run to Sam's Club the other day, and got some of the industrial strength stuff. I use it to barbecue, and line the cookie sheets I use to bake painted parts, but I could spare you some if those microwaves start to leak through! :D:p;)

Here's the ammunition story:

Anybody want to buy a watch? Its a genuine gold Rolex ;)

I also have a limited number of opportunities for investment in lakefront properites about 20 miles east of Milwaukee. Get in on the ground floor of a great deal :p:p:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

C'mon fellas, let's keep it in the real world whatta ya say?

Every major socialist revolution included the genocide of thousands if not millions of those countries citizens. Hitler, Stalin, Castro, Che Guevara, Pol Pot, Mao Zedong and others. These all happened in the last hundred years or so. Nothing about these lessons of recent history is taught in any school in our country, critical thinking is no longer encouraged or valued.

We used to be a godly nation. In the 1920's every usa state college had a department of theology. Today these have been completely purged. Not a solitary one left.

Ever hour another insane decision by those in charge of our government chip away at our liberties and further nullify our once revered usa constitution. 17 trillion dollars in debt and counting. Pull your heads out of the sand, take a hard look at what's happening right in front of our eyes.

I'm not going to get into politics. The mods will shut it down (and rightly so, it doesn't belong here) but I will offer this:

State colleges are offering a lot less these days. It's about money, not some vendetta against theology. I come from a time when you went to school and all you needed was your lunch money. No registration fees, book rentals, mandatory donations, etc and so on. College costs were reasonable. It sure is different now, but there are plenty of schools where a student can go to study theology if they want to.

There are l a lot of folks telling me my liberties are being taken away, but I can't seem to find anything I can't do now that I did 10 years ago.

Debt has been building for some thirty years and that particular problem is owned by the entire government (both sides of the aisle) and boils down to a simple sentence that neither side of the aisle seems to be able to cope with: You get what you pay for.

: You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately that only works in a free and open market. Does not work with government contracts/programs. In all my time working with the city we never got what we paid for, seems contractors would see the source of the project was government and do the bid x4.

We have strayed so far away from prison trains .....

I meant nothing political about what I said above.

I was only doing 55, officer.

That mess? Sarah was the last one to leave the room.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

That dress looks beautiful on you.

I saw a Southern Railway steam locomotive with a red roof prior to 1945.

These all have something in common with your statement.

That's a pretty broad statement! I work in the water business. Most of the work I do is on projects funded by the government at some level, local, state, or federal. I have found that most contracts are totally fair. Federal contracts must for example take the low bidder, and in all but a few cases, proprietary technologies or sole sourcing are specifically excluded. Are there instances of graft/corruption? Sure. Those things have existed as long as humans have. But if you get caught...the penalites are pretty severe. I have to take yearly training on dealing with the government and being aware of the many regulations and so forth. Nothing is bullet proof, and there are things that can make government work more expensive, such as prevailing wage rates, American made goods required, security issues and such, but just because it's government does not mean its inherently bad or problematical. That's a huge oversimplification, and an inaccurate one at that!

When we bid on govt jobs, the price is higher because of the ridiculous terms and conditions demanded in the specs. Hold backs, bid bonds, terms of payment...it all adds cost.

I, for one, believe that a well informed electorate is a requirement for a sound, well functioning government. Falling short of that, the populace is subject to all types of stories, be they fact or fallacy. Without a reasonable effort to ascertain the truth, they can fall victim to parties who may not have their best interests at heart. When this happens, there can be a precipitous change in the quality of government and the services it provides, including the direction of mores that a country displays. I'm not going to get involved in an argument on politcs here. That has been one of the most gratifying aspects of this forum.......the almost complete lack of political commentary. If I want to practice the art of polemics, there are any number of sites available for that. Personally, this is one of a select few sites where I feel that I can relax and not have to worry about offending anyone with politcs or religion. I hope it continues to be that way.
