Cork roadbed help

I use an electric palm sander to lower cork profiles (on the mainline) and to transition down to spurs. I save the "dust" and mix with a little glue to use as a filler for holes, etc. in the roadbed. Works pretty quickly for me.

Beach bum I do the same thing but with a sure form tool.
HO cork on the mains, N cork on sidings, rubber mat for yards and industrial areas.

Just a note on double track; two mains labeled North & South are often level, two mains labeled track one & track two often have #two lower... However this varies greatly.

Wow you really put a lot of work into making the transitions. I decided to get the wood shims and give that a try. So I'll keep you guys posted on how they turn out. Thanks so much for all the input!
