A map of every railraod? Here you go

Not sure where to put this, either prototype or layout. Hopefully this is not a repeat (I searched).

It is... "a detailed online map of the world's railway infrastructure"

NOTE: so far, when I go to the map it is SLOW, (because it is searching the entire database), but it will come up. You need
to zoom in REALLY close to see the actual details.

NOTE2: zooming in on my home town, it had abandoned track that my father said was abandoned when he was
a kid (well over half a century ago). Interesting.

Interesting map. I have an old map that's four feet by three and a half feet nicely framed with a similar theme but it is from 1959. Lists all of the railroad by name.
 
Thank you for this link! I am just starting in the hobby and one of my hopes was to model after the line that went in front of my Grandparent's house in WV. This shows it!
