Good Morning Everyone: Heavy rain early last night with stream, roads and low land flooding with maybe five inches of rain on top of the several inches during the day. I didn't look, but our rear yard which is lower that the where the house sits, usually floods for several days after heavy rainfall.
Ken: Hopefully the stairs will be soon. I have handrails on each side of the steps. I already walked a mere four feet without aid which I think is a milestone.
Louis: Speaking of World Series games I was lucky to have gone to the I believe 1957 World Series with the former Milwaukee Braves playing the Yankees. I had a banner from the game that is one of the rare ones but can't find it. The Braves won the series in seven games. We also went to the 2001 World Series game in Phoenix and watched the Diamond Backs play the Yankees. The game was just after 911 and the security was extremely high.
Last night's game I wonder why Hader was in relief when he was a major reason for another lost in another game just last Saturday. Simple mistakes in fielding can cost a team a game and Championship as the Brewers proved last night. Maybe next year....close two years in a row.
Terry: Thanks for the Ebay lead on the Scale Trains locomotive.
No other train news to report.
Regards.....
Greg
