I think this was an Intermountain kit as I bought it awhile back. But I wanted to weather it and show some freight inside with the doors partially open.
To give it an overall "dirty" look I used isopropyl and pastels in a light "wash" with a stiff brush. I included the roof where I added streaks of silver paint to show
where the paint had worn off the roof and also some areas of rust showing. I think it came out good and am pleased with it. But I need to still do the wheels and couplers. I really enjoy weathering and if it's done right, makes the models look real like the prototype.
