Wood "Background" Building Kits

I have used a variety of Walther's background buildings on my layout and no matter what I do to paint or kit bash these structures, they still can be identified as Walther's background buildings. Are there any wood kit background buildings available on the market?

Yes. There are a number of manufacturers that work them in with their regular kits. Bar Mills and FOS come to mind. You could also cut down a kit so it fits your needs. Heck, if you cut a kit in half, you could end up with two structures! It's all in what you want to do.
