Whew! Scariest decoder installation to date.....

...for me, that is, into an Overland Models 3-unit gas turbine #30. Lights have been replaced with LEDs, marker lights added with optical fiber. I used a QSI Titan decoder for sound in the lead unit, and a TCS silent decoder in the center turbine unit. In addition to the electronics and lighting, I did a complete teardown, cleaning and re-lube of the drivetrain. Hope to have some video shortly. Always fun to tear apart a $1500+ unit! LOL I have done some brass installs so I know the feeling.

As of now, there are no other alternatives in HO scale other than another brass manufacturer (Alco).
