Unusual Pair Of Tank Cars


I doubt they ever ran together, but it would have been a sight to behold!

I bought a resin kit for the larger tank car. It's going to take a lot of sanding and fitting to complete. Didn't include couplers or trucks. Not what I had expected when I ordered to kit.

I'd chop it up and make three cars out of it!
(right after U finish the bridge)
 
It,s funny you should mention cutting up the model. DuPont did just that with their first series of six axle cars. They used the center section, added new ends, saddles, bolsters and four axle trucks. So there is a example for most everything!
