Transition from foam to 3/4" plywood

Adding on to existing portion of layout where the roadbed is built up on about 5" inches of the high density blue foam that's commonly used. Only about 16-18 inches of this area built up which will lead to this new section in which I will use 3/4 plywood. Any concerns or experience is welcome from anyone that has done this before. Any need to worry about warping track or expansion outside what normal. Only 1 track, not like a yard section.

I wouldn't worry too much about warping or expansion unless your layout is in an uncontrolled environment. Just make sure you don't have a track joint over the transition.
