Decoder Burnt Out???

Hi Dallas Modern, having just gone through a similar experience with my Intermountain F7 with QSI I can sympathize. If you have lights I would guess the decoder is not burnt out.

My comments are -- get that danged shell off and see what exactly is there!!!

Then after the many efforts I made to get the decoder reset and being left with a questionable result I have finally achieved a good result.

I have read your previous threads entirely and it seems as if there are a few steps left....

Did you try reseting on both main and programming track??
If on the main what addr did you use??
Can you query CV's using the programming track??
How sure are you it is a Digitrak without looking?? Resets are different!
..for starters....

Mine was a multi session failure before I started to make progress!!

good luck ,,, Ken

You should be able to pull the decoder out and put a jumper pin set in the decoder socket to restore it to straight DC. I've never had a T55 product but most DCC engines have some way to use a jumper pin set to disable to let the loco run on DC.
