ON SUNDAY October 8th will be the great northeast model train show held at the holiday inn scranton east. 200 Tigue ST. Dunmore PA from 9 till 2. plenty of free parking right off of I-81 &I-380.

It depends what you like. I was there last year and there was some models which represented local railroads, past and present. At the same time there is similar sized train show just north of Bethlehem. But the one I would definitely recommend is the "First Frost Train Meet" in Allentown next month, November 11-12
 
The Timonium show is next weekend, just a few miles north of Baltimore.
Over 800 tables and several modular layouts. Fills the three-acre arena.
 
Stop by our modular layout, PWMRC in the north hall, blue skirting HO. I'll be there on Friday to setup, then on Sunday to run trains and tear it down.
