Texas floods...wow


That happened about 70 miles north of me. For some reason we must be in one hell of a sweet spot for this one. Heavy rains and flooding to the north, south and east of us. Closest is about 40 minutes east. But got a lot of rain 8+ inches and it was just long and steady so no sudden down pours or flooding.

I'll take it but feel bad for everyone else too.

Only 7.83 inches here, and no trains derailed. My parents, who live in Cypress (NW Houston suburb) got 11.2"!
