Stand Alone External Sound System.

I posted this in another thread, but I thought it maybe useful for others and I thought it would be easier to find if I started a new thread.

I wrote to NCE and asked if they had any plans to make an external stand alone sound system like SurroundTraxx.

Here is the reply: "No, we are not considering making a device like the SurroundTraxx by SoundTraxx. However, you could purchase a QSI Titan decoder and wire it to your track, then connect a speaker or two to it. As it is a decoder, you could make its address the same as a locomotive, then the sounds will react the same as the loco.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] "Larry Larsen

I think that is a great solution and as far as I know you could use any sound decoder.

Go to the MRC web site. They make several stand alone systems.
