What do you use to convert brick sides of plastic HO kits to look like concrete and especially stucco? All the kits are brick and you never saw that in small shops in Northern or southern Calif. in any towns I ever lived in. So for stucco and concrete I resort to scratch-building with Strathmore board that I texture with how I apply paint layers.
 
I would try some pre-mixed vinyl spackling compound or automotive Bondo. I would think the Bondo would be easier to control.
 
I would think that the hardest thing would be to get the stucco to "look" in scale. All the stucco I've seen has a rough surface, and look almost like a textured ceiling. Never have seen a smooth stucco surface, esp in the south.
