report on op session......

Had 12 people counting me. With 75% new people it went good. Does look like I need another power booster. 8 trains, 7 with sound is too much for 8 amp system.
Anyone else here using NRC prodigy?

Why do you think that you need another booster? 8 trains and 7 with sound is a light load. At one of our ARG, (Alabama Rail Gang), meets several years ago, we were at Rexhea's layout. At one time we had 22 trains running at once, with about 18 of those were sound equipped.

Rex has one of those inline amp meters made for MRR, and the highest that meter read was 4.5 amps.

Is the layout an older one that you just added the DCC to it's previous wiring, or is it new with buses to attach the feeders to?
