Removing the shell from a Rivarossi heavyweight

Can anyone walk me through removing the shell?

There appears to be four tabs in the black floor bottom that join with the outside shell which has a small indentation for the tab.

I understand that roof and window glazing are one piece, but dang if I can figure it out.

Just release those tabs and the roof/window section lifts straight up out of the body. I always found it easier for future removal to cut those tabs off.

Don't the clear window panels sort of grasp the lower base? Do you have to juggle all of that at once?

I used toothpicks to keep each tab "open" as I got them to release from the body. Then the roof pulled off easily. I used a razor saw to cut those tabs off, so its now really easy to pull the roof off.
