I have a HPI supernitro 1/10 scale F150. Its addicting and EXPENSIVE! I replaced alot of the plastic with aluminum and carbob fiber. Worst was hitting a concrete wall at 40 mph when I lost signal.

I see whats out now and im just like wow, the motors that are stock are huge compared to what came with mine.

I have considered 1/87 scale remote control vehicles for my train layout, but my streets and roads don't really go anywhere but off the edge of the layout.
