Hello:
I am trying to get a couple of Proto 1000 C Liners to perform smoothly. I am using old school Onboard Command control. When you cut the power, the units locks up and skid to a halt. When they are under power they are relatively smooth, but going downhill with a load, they tend to lurch and skid from time to time...I have inspected the drive trains and everything seems to be in order. When you disconnect the drive shafts, the chassis will roll smoothly. Both of these units do the same thing, so I suspect that it is a design problem, not an isolated quality control issue. I would guess the Proto 1000 F Units have a similar chassis and motor set up.
Any comments and or suggestions?
