Parts for an RS3

Hi all,

I recently accuired an HO RS-3. I will need to replace the rails as it is a wire/plastic combo and many where broken or missing.

Where would be a good source to reseach the diffent manufactures parts?
(other than my brick an mortar)

This loco is an Roundhouse products 2350 series.

You could use Atlas parts. They're easy to get and you can adapted them. google, Atlas model trains then click on parts then click on RS3 ...... you can order by phone.

My LHS guy says they are out of stock at this time. He also wasn't sure if the parts would be available any more.
I'll do some checking.

I'm not sure if he looked under atlas or not. I think he looked under roundhouse.

I didn't think you could get Roundhouse parts anymore, that's why I suggested Atlas. I don't know how 'scale accurate' Roundhouse locos are, but if they are close then you could adapt Atlas railings.
