I just read today that the owner of the train stop in san dimas, Paul Kirby, died earlier this month. The store is currently closed with no timeline on reopening. Their website http://www.trainstop.com confirms the story and reiterates the store being closed. I grew up in San Dimas so I used to spend a lot of time in the store when I was growing up. For years it was filled with cigarette smoke but they had cleared that issue up in the late 90's. Oddly enough I had jsut seen Paul in August at a restaurant and he seemed fine. Very unfortunate indeed.
