I ran across this train today in Bessemer, Al. It's destination was apparently Birmingham Rail and Locomotive. http://www.bhamrail.com/index.asp I think these two old gals have seen their better days. The light was changing rapidly as I chased the train but I hope ya'll enjoy the pics.

For some strange reason it reminds me of an old joke:

Q. Why do bulldogs have flat faces.

A. From chasing parked cars.
 
I just wonder how the slug got that much damage. I thought they were used in slow speed service. Either it was going a lot faster than I thought slugs went or something else going mighty fast hit it. Either way, good catch and nice shots, Eric.
