Nice article, and some great videos of the snow themed layouts.

I have a small section on my layout with snow, but I want to rebuild the layout, and have a larger section modeled in snow.

check out this kid on youtube, nsmodeler24. He has a good tutorial on doing a winter scene. It was just featured in the modelers photo section of MR or RMC.
