Got bored and started searching pbase.com, typed in HO trains and started going thru some galleries when I stumbled across these unique kitbashed sd80/90macs i believe with f59phi cabs. I honestly could see this as a future design for NA railroads and as a ho kit.

Looks like he also made a custom F59PHI-B unit too. Very creative.

I like them, looks like they did some nice work for the finished product. The Warbonnet does look pretty sharp too.

OMG, we're going back to the "Train of Tomorrow" look today! The trouble with this kind of thing in real life is that the look gets old in about 10 years and then the lcomotives will look frumpy, with a swoopy nose and the rest of it looking like a machine shop on wheels. Nice modeling but they are butt ugly.
