North Bennington, VT

Years ago, I got a painting of this station at a store in my local mall. Back on Veteran's Day weekend, we visited Bennington, VT, so this was my 'prefered stop,' along the way. I have a few more photos of the immediate area, which I could post, if anyone is interested.

Absolutely! I made my way down Rt. 7 from Rutland back in May. I noticed several remnants of the old Rutland line, but didn't have the time to spare to photograph it.

My Rutland probably won't end up looking much like the real one, but it'll be a loose representation.

I took a couple more photos that I'll post before 2013 ends, I hope. As I got to the station area around 4-5PM on a cloudy day, the photos are a bit dark, which is why I didn't post more, originally.

A few more photos. All I did was to enhance their brightness a bit using Kodak Easyshare software, so that they weren't so dark. It was after 3PM on Veteran's Day 2013, when I took them. Hope you like!

A great building, certainly would fit the ghosts of railroads past theme.
