Hello,
I'm new here. I have been a scale modeler for way too many years,
and after a few sporadic jump starts, I intend to do some serious
railroad modeling. My background is mostly in aircraft, and cars.
I would like to model some cabooses (cabeese?) from scratch.
I am fluent in styrene, and wood, and conversant in most metals.
I would like to build some models of older wooden cabooses in HO
Something from some southern lines. I'm from Texas. Mostly in wood.
I have had a really hard time finding any drawings, or 3 views, if you guys use those. I plan on building my own rolling stock from scratch, so if you have
anything on older (1900s-1950s) cabooses, boxcars, or cattle cars, I would
really appreciate the help.
I also seem to need an education on various types of trucks used.
I'm newto this, and kinda ignorant, so any help would be appreciated.
