Need designe help: GE E-70

Ok, I'm making a new locomotive: a GE E-70. I'm starting with a Spectrum E-33, and installing a GE wide Cab. I need something for the rear portion of the unit that looks newer than what's there, but that doesn't look like a straight -9 rip. I'm thinking something like the rear end of an SDP-40 or perhaps an SD-90... I tried using a spare SDP-40 shell but it had soaked in brake fluid for too long, and the shell splintered...

so, I'm open to suggestions, and if anyone has a spare part that will be perfect, let me know and we will see what we can come up with...

cab will be lowered to match contours of roof...

wouldn't the pantographs normally be mounted in the lower recess behind the cab?

anyway, I think anything that basically squared off the rear end would look just fine.

I like your idea, keep us posted on the progress.

that "recessed area" is caused by the -9 cab being taller. On the E-33 base the cab roof is even:

I tried to squeeze in the pans, but they are too wide when retracted...

also, the -9 cab will be lowered to match the roof profile of the E-33... ther will be no "dip"...
