Need CN modeler's help

Craftsman at heart
I a have a CN C-424 which needs some details parts added to it like a 3 chime horn, side bell, and sinclair antenna. (I'm modeling 1974). Does anyone know where to place these exactly. I've been looking on the net with no luck yet.

That should cover it

Thank you all!
Great shots.
It seems the antenna is a bit off to the side lined up with the smaller lights at the front, but centred between the the front and back of the cab.
The mount for the bell seems to be smack in the middle between the vent and the panel and flush with the roof.
Now the horn seems a bit difficult to figure out.
I got all the parts from MBE except for the bell; waiting on that.
Cheers!
Here is the model. Going to start by removing the existing horn and taking the shell off and apart for some weathering.
But for now, gotta finish the caboose and hopper. These are my first acquisitions to start my circa 1974 collection.

Well I finally got to working on my C424 and noticed the then end is painted differently than the prototype. It seems to have paint job of what is suppose to be on the end of a striped unit. I managed to get the horns on and ACI plates. Still waiting for a bell i ordered from MBE, Will be putting the antenna on soon.
Will probably attempt to paint the end. Does anyone know what CN colour that red is?

Yeah, the earliest examples from the 1961 scheme had more of a wrap around orange on the ends...especially noticable on the GP9s...this was reduced probably in the late 60's to follow the more logical body lines...the 2000 C630Ms also had wraparound orange on the back ends...

but the newer M636 2300s did not...

notice 4806 has orange creeping onto the carbody doors (and lower cab numbers)

and 4506 has orange on the ends only (and vertically centred cab numbers)

I was hoping that there was some evidence out there of the C424 having the paint on the end reduced to follow the more logical body lines, but it looks like I'll have to paint my model. Now I got to figure out how to to that. I have no painting experience.
Thanks for the info. Cheers!

Anyone noticed the cn started adding a red marker over the conductor side ditch light of their GEVO and sd70m-2 ?

Yeah, cuz for the longest time (I think the SD50Fs, or maybe the early Dash9s were the last) they lacked marker lights, so if units were DPu'd or simply on the tail end of the train, they needed an illuminated or reflective red marker, so they had to add it to non-marker equipped units...now with the 70Ms or Gevos, they don't have to...

Interesting. Thanks. It looks like the repaints happened after 1971, but when, is now the question. It seems that CN 3214 has the paint wrapped around the back in the 1971 shot and CN 3209 does not in the 1974 shot. Since I'm modelling summer of 74, I'm still hoping I do not have to paint my CN 3214. Now I just got to find out if CN 3214 was repainted before the summer of 74.

Well it's not 100% prototypical, but it will have to do for now until someone makes something prototypical for the 1974 era I'm now starting to collect for.

I put horns (a little oversized), shades, pilots, and a Sinclair antenna on it. Still waiting for a bell I ordered.

Iy was really tough getting the shell back on. Phew!
