My HO N&W layout

Finally got it mounted onto the wall during the spring.
I made it so I can remove it from the wall using door hinges with removable pins.
I would just have to add the other set of legs to make it stand alone.

With it closed up

I will add more pictures tomorrow of the control panel progress as I mounted
all of the turnout switches and selector switches

I like your slide out for the controls. Makes for a neater installation. I may steal your idea!!!
I got the heavy duty 16" slides at Home Depot and bought a shelf piece that was 16 x whatever and shortened it to the width I wanted
Here is a pic of the underside for how I attached it

My only thing now is I have to make a sleeve or something to bundle all of the wires behind the slide out so they don't catch when it is slide all the way out

They make plastic spiral wrap that would help that. It is kind of like an old telephone twist cord. That's what I'm going to use on my lift gate when I get that far....
I was thinking either that or the mesh one I had seen in the computer department for wrapping up cords behind a desktop computer
