I recently bought a MTH CN SD70M-2 w/sound off of E-Scam and it was described as new.

LOL it wasn't. I paid $220 shipped for it and it came with a missing sun shade and 3 bent cab stanchions that most likely will break when I try to bend them back as they show white stress marks.

Everything else on the unit is mint including sound/lights/movement.

My question for you guys, is MTH easy to deal with like Athearn for parts?

I will be trying to get the guy to refund me the cost of the parts as I think its easier for both of us to do this. I bought with PayPal if we can't work this out, as his ad said NEW....
 
You should have no problem getting parts from MTH. Just call them up and explain what happened. Every time I've called them they have been really friendly and helpful. Don't bother sending emails to them, use the phone, you know the thing with all the numbers on it. LOL
 
I called first but I got a voice mail saying to leave one and they would call me back. I did that and an email

I'm just going to get a refund from paypal I think. Those couplers are probley not cheap
