I don't understand. Just two weeks ago, I won two auctions (same seller). And I didn't see anything that ebay was collecting 15% fees for auctions.

Buyers premiums are pretty common with auctions. They can go higher than 15% too. I've seen 25%, plus they collect a similar commission from the seller. E-bay nails you with their listing & insertion fees plus their cut. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!
