Looking for parts suppliers for HO scale trains.

"supplier of parts for repairing HO scale trains."

Sourcing parts is a hunting trip. Hobby/train shops sometimes have a collection of used train cars, some complete and some not, that they sell cheap. Check some hobby shops in your area.
My guess is you will need to ask for parts help on this forum and other buy/sell forums. Maybe, just maybe, someone has the part you need. Another source is E-bay. Again trying to source a particular part can be a hit or miss journey.
Sometimes it is just easier to replace a model rather than spend way too much time trying to find that special part, especially if the rolling stock piece is readily available at a reasonable price.
Just my thoughts.

It seems manufacturers over the years have gone to the model of not stocking or producing parts. It seems the order enough extras to swap the entire unit out. All there looking to do is get it through the warranty period, and then it's your problem mentality.

As for finding something for a model that's older, you might have to get creative, and scratch build, or go the 3D printing route.

I am looking for a supplier of parts for repairing HO scale trains. Specifically (today) I am looking for a cupola for a Rivarossi NH (red) #711.
This one, or the one with the silver cupola?

My guess is it might be cheaper to track down an entire caboose at a swap meet somewhere.
I am guessing you could take it off these two. Just have to repaint to the NH orange.

A good example of that is my Hornby Eurostar, I needed a new headlight unit, Hornby never made any replacements for them, answer, I've had to buy a whole bodyshell, which I don't need.
