It's a bit dusty and rear coupler is missing......

Old 97

Found an AHM EMD FT in HO Scale.
Lost to time and clutter.
Will send it onto the Broake & Howe RR shops for cleaning and upgrades.
After that, it'll spend some service hours with the WN&K.
Colored and lettered for Atlantic Coast Line, they'll probably cry because it's mostly purple. o_Oo_Oo_O😂
Should be quite the conversation in the greasy spoon. :)
Picture below is from the interwebs. Will try to add a pic of mine.

That is my first locomotive, the shell came off easy as I remember working on it back in 1970!

Was able to scrub the carbody with warm soapy water and an old toothbrush.
Air dried on the overnite shift.
Next up is to add a drop or two of Marvel Mystery Oil to the worm drive.
Kadee couplers are here somewhere.
All 8 truck wheels were misaligned and out of spec.
Popped those back into position.
Main headlight socket is severely rusted.
Everything else looks to be intact.
Have to put it to power and see what happens.
C.R.S. prevents me from knowing where this unit came from.

Installed the new kadee couplers.
Didn't bother with coupler height.
The mounting is angled downwards from the factory, so some modifications may be in store.
Gave the drive mechanism a drop or two of WD-40 instead of MMO.
Got the shell reinstalled.
Next step is to put juice to it. :)
