In search of some parts.

Im looking for some parts for an athearn and a bachmann unit. The athearn parts im sure i can get from them just need part #s. The bachmann unit i dont know as they no longer have what i need.

Here we go.

First is a athearn DASH 9 44CW I need all the parts that are circled in yellow in the pics.

The second loco is a bachmann (DDA40X) (also ive seen this listed as a DD40AX & DD40X which is correct?)

anyways i need a complete set of handrails.

If anyone can be of any help that be great.

Mike, you can get the fuel tank and reserviors from Athearn. You can get the horn also but I'd replace it with a Details West horn. It will look a lot better.

DD40x is the correct designation for UP Centennials. Athearn made a DD40 that was the basis of the DD40x although no DD40's were ever built. You might try a set of handrails from Athearn for their DD40 since the length is right although you'll have to bend some wire and modify some stanchions for the large sand box.
