Chad, I'm not sure what you mean by dimming lights. Are you asking about having the headlights dimmed when the locomotive is standing in a siding or having the headlight on but dim when the locomotive is reversing? In either case, it depends on what CV values are used by the decoder in your Kato engine. You should have some documentation on CV values that came with the engine or that you can download from the Kato web site. You can then remap a function button on the Zephyr to control the headlight behavior.
