I been working on U Tube videos of model railroad and it seems that U Tube is now charging for back ground music for new videos that are done on the U Tube platform.
Is this a fact? The program didn't allow me to add a musical background to my video.
Is the music you're trying to add non-copyrighted, open-license, free-to-use, etc. stock music?
Copyright violation and improper use without permission is a concern and can also result in videos taken down if there are strikes/complaints against it.
They don't charge for it, but they only allow you to post certain music. If it's copyrighted, then it has to be from somebody who grants permission for it to be used on YouTube.
