Diaphragms for MDC Pullman Palace cars

Anyone have a set of these MDC Pullman Palace cars that they have mounted todays better diaphragms on?
just wondering as i contacted American Limited about their sets and they thought their 9100 series for Athearn heavyweight cars would be best.

GN, the 9100 series diaphrams will work fine, with a little trimming at the bottom. The ends on the MDC cars ar almost exactly the same measurements as the Athearn heavyweight cars except the MDC cars are about 1/4 inch less tall.

This is great news now if I can just find a dealer that sell's them in the advertised 6 paks lol.
